Fuel Management

Fuel management systems are standard

equipment on some outboard engines. On

Yamaha® engines, the fuel management

gauge is a multifunction gauge used to mon-

itor aspects of the engine's fuel consump-

tion. If you have a fuel management system

installed on your boat, please refer to the

engine or fuel management manual.

Instrument Maintenance

Circuit breakers or fuses, found on the

engine, provide electrical protection for

instruments and ignition circuitry. Protect

ignition switches and all instruments, con-

trols, etc. from the weather when not in use.

Excessive exposure can lead to instrument

and ignition switch failures.
